Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To make them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once item upgrades are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be added and an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.
Upgrades to items can be used to make sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
